Privacy Policy

This policy explains what StudySoba collects, why we use it, and how you can request a copy or deletion.

Data we collect

  • Account details, including your name, email address, login method, and session records.
  • Files, links, text, audio, and images you add for studying.
  • Study activity, quiz answers, review timing, progress, and plan usage.
  • Billing status from Stripe. StudySoba does not store full card numbers.
  • Basic technical records used for security, fault diagnosis, and service operation.

How we use data

We use your data to run your account, create study sets, keep review timing synced, process purchases, prevent abuse, and answer your requests. We do not sell personal data.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address, email verification status, and profile image. We use these details only to create or sign you in to your StudySoba account. We do not request Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or contacts data. You can disconnect StudySoba from your Google Account settings and ask us to delete the linked account data.

Service providers

StudySoba may send limited data to hosting, database, file storage, model, speech, email, analytics, and billing providers when needed to run the service. Each provider receives only the data needed for its task.

Retention and deletion

Account and study data stays while your account is active. You may request deletion or export by emailing hello@studysoba.com. Some billing and security records may remain when law or fraud prevention requires it.

Students under 13

StudySoba is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 sent us personal data, email us so we can remove it.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You may also sign out of active sessions. Privacy rights may differ by location.
